Summer is in full swing and so is music festival season. Whether you are going to see your faves or just wanting to lay back and hear some good music, local music festivals are a great way to experience the wonderful talent that’s in our city. Here are just a few coming up within the next few weeks.
IRIS Music Festival

The inaugural IRIS Music Festival on Saturday, July 19 is inspired by the monthly IRIS Music Showcase founded by musician Taylor Kelly. Located at Wonderland Fishtown, the festival features women and transfemme artists and vendors. The artists lineup includes ANGELCONCEPCION, Jacqueline Constance, APRIL FOOL CHILD, and more. Lancaster Avenue Jazz & Arts Festival

2025 Lancaster Avenue Jazz & Arts Festival returns to Saunders Park Greene (39th and Powelton) on Saturday, July 19 from Noon to 7 p.m. The event is rain or shine, free, and family-friendly with food trucks, community resource vendors, and a children’s village with lots of activities . Performers includes headliner V. Shayne Frederick, poet Ursula Rucker, Nazir Ebo, and Chris Oatts and the Pretty Big Band. For more information, click here.
All Love Block Party

The All Love Block Party is back and it’s bigger than ever ! Almost Famous and Black Soul Summer have partnered to bring a day full of music, art and community love. Jazz on the Ave

The Jazz on the Ave Music Festival returns for its 16th year this year. The festival is a beautiful result of the partnership between Beech Community Services and the 22nd Police District. This free, family-friendly event hosted by media royalty Patty Jackson, Dyana Williams and Mina Say What includes performers Suzann Christine, Queen of the Pen, Peyton “Ms. Drumz” Bailey and more.
