Our Black Music Month panel presented by in partnership with our friends at The Anderson Street Project was incredible. Evon Burton of The Anderson Street Project co-moderated a very special conversation along with our editor Toya Haynes to discuss what has been on the hearts and minds of some of the artists in our city during these times. We want to thank Queen Jo, Beano French, and Zeek Burse for dropping so many gems from how they feel about an artist’s responsibility to racism within the industry to the issues of funding in regard to arts and culture in Philadelphia. We appreciate everyone that tuned in last night. Let us know if you’d like to see more of these talks!
